On Friday March 3rd, the Grimsby Peach Kings will play their final game of the regular season and will see 3 players dress for their final regular season game in a Peach King jersey.
The Peach Kings organization would like to thank Tyler Karl, Eric Lowe and your captain, Maxim Ljuboja, for their commitment to the team both on and off the ice.
Tyler Karl, from Nottawa Ontario has played 4 seasons in the Provincial Junior Hockey League and during his final season, wearing the Peach Kings jersey. Friday’s game will be his 120th regular season Junior C hockey game.
Eric Lowe, from Beamsville, has played in 4 season in the Provincial Junior Hockey League. In his final season, Lowe decided to put on the Peach King jersey and make a run for the Schmaltz Cup. Friday’s game will be his 104th regular season Junior C hockey game.
Maxim Ljuboja, from right here in Grimsby, is playing in his 5th season in the Provincial Junior Hockey League, all while wearing the Peach King logo on his chest. Ljuboja was selected as the teams captain at the beginning of the 2021-22 season and has represented what the Peach Kings stand for on and off the ice since wearing the C. Friday’s game will be his 130th regular season game representing the Peach Kings.
